European Summer : Woodland-Inspired Floral Workshop

Design a crafted sculptural container, arrange seasonal fresh foliage within it, and take home your finished piece. Set in the beautiful garden café at Innisfree Farm on Vancouver Island. Tools provided during the class (feel free to bring your own if you prefer). Light refreshments included. Perfect for florists, hobbyists, and creative spirits alike.

The Art of Floral Installation: Uncommon Mechanics

A demonstration-style workshop with hands-on components exploring nature-inspired floral installations, including wedding arches, sculptural floral work, and land art. Participants will learn environmentally conscious, foam-free mechanics and creative approaches to structure, support, and botanical movement. Each participant will leave with wire and practice materials to continue experimenting with techniques at home.

International Master Florist Katherine Olmstead leads this hands-on workshop demonstrating how to create a floral hairpiece, floral earrings, a floral bow tie, or modern interpretations of boutonnieres and corsages. 

Join Katherine Olmstead, Canadian International Master Florist, for a three-hour hands-on workshop exploring the art of wearable florals. Katherine will demonstrate how to create a floral hairpiece, floral earrings, a floral bow tie, and modern interpretations of boutonnieres and corsages. Participants can choose which piece they’d like to design and take home.
